Planning Commission Appeal for Gun Shop on 9/21
The community development director for the city of Torrance has approved a new gun shop, Red Rifle, to be located at 1325 Sartori Ave in Downtown Torrance.
The Planning Commission will be hearing an appeal for the proposed gun shop on Wednesday, September 21 at 6:30 PM. The meeting will take place in the City Council Chamber at 3031 Torrance Blvd. starting at 6:30 p.m. It is not available for remote viewing. Four residents who filed the appeal will be speaking.
Opponents of the gun shop argue that the proposed location is 1/2 mile from Torrance High and Nativity School and they have cited that there are already 2 gun shops within a mile of this location. If you agree, you can sign a petition to block the approval here.
