Our 2023 RHA Scholarship winners are now graduates and heading for great things. In case you missed it in our last newsletter, meet our superb students and future leaders at our RHA Scholarship page. They join a long line of Riviera students who earned scholarships thanks to the contributions of Riviera residents to the RHA.
Our June landscape award, thanks to…June!
See our RHA Landscape page for the wonderful designs and plantings by our most dedicated neighbors, including the latest yardscape at the corner of Calle Miramar and Via los Miradores. This drought tolerant wonder was designed for the owners by Riviera resident June Okamoto (pictured).

A Delicias afternoon
The neighbors of the Lower Riviera had a long-awaited block party on Paseo de las Delicias on Saturday, June 17. About 100 neighbors and friends gathered to share lunch and enjoy the closed street.
“We have been talking about doing this for years, and had a great time. It was great to get to know some of the new neighbors who moved in during COVID, and see people connect. We hope to do something similar again soon, like an ice cream social or happy hour. We are already planning for another block party next year” said Steve Gerhardt, one of the event organizers.
Why not try it on your block?
Here are a few photos from the afternoon.
