RHA Officers

RHA Officers are subject to election, typically held at April General Meetings,  and 2-year terms per the RHA Bylaws.  Newly elected officers begin their terms in the fall following the elections.

Co-President and Community Liaison

Pam Popovich

 The President shall preside at all meetings of the members and of the Board; shall countersign all checks and fiscal instruments; shall perform such other duties as customarily pertain to the office of President or as directed by the board; shall conduct the correspondence of the Association as required: shall serve as publicity agent for the Association; shall be responsible for the distribution of notices of elections and other important Association functions.

Community Liaison: Works with board members to bring in new volunteers and board members to answer temporary needs or fill newly created jobs.  Interfaces with other community groups.  Evaluates and suggests RHA activities in the community.

The Second Vice President shall be chair of the Membership Committee.  Responsible for collecting membership applications, checks, and Paypal deposits and coordinates with the Treasurer.  Maintains an ongoing database of members which is used for mailings such as the Riviera Reporter.

The Treasurer shall have custody of all funds, securities, valuable papers and other assets of the Association, and shall be responsible for the disbursement of those funds through checks, drafts, or other fiscal instruments which shall be countersigned by the President.

Historian

The Historian collects artifacts of the RHA proceedings over the years, and brings historical information on the Riviera to the attention of the Hollywood Riviera residents.

Landscape Chair

The Hospitality Chairperson sets up and provides refreshments for general meetings. Provides minimal refreshments for Board meetings. Is cheerful and welcoming at all times.

The Landscape Chairperson oversees the Landscape Award Program, in coordination with the Riviera Garden Club.

 

Mailing Chair

The Mailing Chairperson compiles the content for the Riviera Reporter, and other special mailings, and arranges all the details for the printing and distribution of each edition.

Scholarship Chair

Online Editor / Photographer

Maintains this Riviera Homeowners Assoc website in conjunction with the President and Newsletter Editor, providing timely and relevant information to the RHA and the community at large.  Snaps photos at opportune moments.

Solicits and arranges advertising for the Riviera Reporter and website

City Council Observer

This position is OPEN.  Think you have what it takes?  Might not be as hard as you think, and a lot more rewarding.
 The City Council observer monitors City Council Hearings and informs the Board of Directors of citywide and Riviera related issues.

Traffic Liaison

This position is OPEN.  Think you have what it takes?  Might not be as hard as you think, and a lot more rewarding.
Responsible for helping the community in resolving traffic-related issues/concerns and informing residents of scheduled city traffic programs and road construction/maintenance projects that affect the Riviera area.
