Riviera Outstanding Landscape Awards

The RHA and the Riviera Garden Club collaborate every quarter to recognize a Riviera household that has added beauty to the neighborhood via their landscape design. Awardees are presented an Outstanding Landscape sign to proudly display in their yard, and they are featured in our seasonal newsletters and on this webpage. The Turchi home front landscaping has a variety of lovely plants and flowers that complement each other. This variety of plant sizes, textures and colors, that border a grassy area, make a most inviting entrance to their home.

John’s water wise garden features a mature Valencia Orange tree in the courtyard. In front of that are Cacti, a blooming Yucca, colorful Haemodoraceae (kangaroo paws) and contrasting types of mulch all on a drip irrigation system.

A small statue of Buddha and an iron lantern accent the space. John did most of the work himself with the help of a friend.
