As a neighborhood association, RHA must always consider how our decisions and actions provide benefit and value to our community.
The RHA strives to be consistent in its review of Business Memberships and reserves the right to refuse member or sponsor status to a business under the following conditions, where the Business or Owner:
- Only conducts on-line sales and the owner is not an RHA Resident member.
- Has relocated and/or no longer serves the Riviera community.
- Sells a product or provides a service that has a limited, niche, or legally restricted target audience, or the RHA Board otherwise determines is non-representative of the community.
- Has received negative reviews, complaints, or publicity to the extent the business or owner is not in good standing with the community.
- Uses social and other media to publicly express or share highly charged opinions or articles.
- Currently holds, has held, or has run for public office within the last five years.
- Any other reason in which the RHA Board determines the Business would not be well-received or of significant interest to the Riviera community.
